Aftercare Instructions

What you will need:

Dial Antibacterial Gold Liquid Soap in Pump Bottle or Dove Unscented

Lubriderm (White bottle blue cap)

Paper Towel

• Remove the sterile dressing that is covering your tattoo 2 hours after the dressing was applied.

• Wash your hands thoroughly with antibacterial soap and lukewarm water.

• Wash your tattoo with your hands, antibacterial soap, and water until any blood, plasm, fluids, or ink is gone.

• Pat dry or air dry (DO NOT WIPE, RUB OR SCRATCH YOUR TATTOO)

• Apply Lubriderm lotion

• It is okay to wrap your tattoo with Saran wrap when you go to sleep for the first night.

If you do, wet the saran wrap before trying to remove it from your tattoo in the morning in case it is stuck onto your tattoo. Other than the first night IF needed, it is BEST to expose your tattoo to air as much as possible.

• Washing and applying lotion to your tattoo should be repeated once in the morning and once at night.

• Lubriderm lotion should be applied every 3-4 hours throughout the day.

• Do this for the next 2-3 weeks. (Once your tattoo peels you can stop washing your tattoo twice a day, I would continue using lotion.)

DO NOT * Use any ointment based petroleum such as A&D, or Vaseline during the healing process.

DO NOT * Use Aquaphor past day two... AND you must use Aquaphor in small amounts if you do use this product at all... (I do not suggest or recommend using Aquaphor during the tattoo healing process although when used properly it is acceptable.)

DO NOT* Expose your tattoo to direct sunlight or tanning beds/sprays.

DO NOT* Submerge your tattoo in water ie: baths, pools, hot tubs, lakes, oceans.

The most important thing is to keep your tattoo clean and moisturized for the next 30 days.
